Role Purpose

  • The Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating new leads, developing relationships with potential clients, and providing technical expertise to support sales efforts. This role will play a critical part in helping our company achieve its sales targets, especially in the manufacturing industry.

Key Position Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive company sales.
  • Present and demonstrate product features and technical capabilities to prospective clients
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers, showcasing the benefits and features of our products
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions and address client needs.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring terms are favorable for both the client and the company.
  • Manage relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
  • Prepare and analyse sales forecasts and reports for management review.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and new product developments
  • Provide post-sales support and troubleshoot any issues to maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications and Experience Requirement

  • Course: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or related field) or relevant experience
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales within the manufacturing or engineering industry (Experience in HVAC is a plus).

Knowledge & Skills Requirement

Technical

  • Strong technical background and understanding of engineering concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
  • Proficiency in CRM/SAP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
